CIO conferences and events. They are the best way to learn about the latest trends, use them to your advantage and to network with like-minded people. Here is a list of the top CIO conferences that you cannot afford to miss in 2021:

1. Microsoft Ignite

Date: March 2–4

Location: Virtual

Microsoft Ignite is a developer and IT professional conference held annually by Microsoft. It takes place in a number of places around the world. Considering the situation, it is held virtually this year. Microsoft Ignite will teach you to drive your organization to success, through MS based solutions. The event is hosting more than 150,000 technology leaders including CEO Satya Nadella and Mitra Azizirad virtually for the 48-hour event.

2. IDC Directions

Date: March 9 and March 16

Location: Virtual

The theme of this year’s conference is digital resilience, which was inspired by the uncertainties of 2021. The event is based on the idea that digital resiliency is critical for organizations transitioning to the next normal.  In the event, IDC’s thought leaders will present their expert insights and guidance on ways to find success in the new normal through digitalization. The event is made for executives, technology professionals, members of the investment community, and members involved in the management of different departments of an organization.

3. 600Minutes Executive IT

Date: March 10–11

Location: Virtual

This event is for IT decision-makers who are looking to gain actionable insights to support their digital growth strategy this year. The 600Minutes Executive IT event will aid their journey with valuable knowledge and insights on reshaping business strategies to adapt to the current scenario through sustainable business models and technology.

4. EmTech Digital

Date: March 23–25

EmTech Digital is an annual event hosted by MIT Technology Review on artificial intelligence (AI). This annual AI conference covers a variety of subjects, including: 

  • The basic challenges that must be addressed in order for implementation to be successful.
  • Leading experts and developers discuss what’s next for AI in terms of hardware and algorithms.
  • The impact of AI on our lives, including how to address inequities and develop future AI strategies.

EmTech Digital’s annual review of the business impact of artificial intelligence involves presentations and interviews with world leaders in AI—including business executives, researchers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs about their ideas and discoveries.

5. The 2021 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium

Date: April 5 to May 28

Location: Virtual

The Symposium is an 8-week long event that launches on April 5 and concludes on May 28. The theme for 2021 is “The Big Reset: Digital Enterprises Shift into High Gear”. The first week is dedicated to the introduction of the program while you settle into the virtual environment. Week 2 to 7 involves traditional chats and panel discussions. The last week- week 8 concludes the event with a town hall-style meeting involving all participants.

The 2021 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium also entitles you to a membership to a community that is dedicated to helping you network with technology executives for 2 years. 

6. SAP SAPPHIRE NOW

SAP Sapphire Now is an annual conference for SAP users and associates. SAP is a global tech provider that specializes in software. 18. Google Cloud Next
