Watch Release Highlights:

Quixy is excited to announce the release of version 4.4, packed with innovative features designed to streamline your workflow, improve collaboration, and empower citizen developers.

Release 4.4 Updates

Let’s dive into the highlights:

1. Visualize Your Data Relationships with Ease

Introducing the all-new ER Diagram View for Tables! This intuitive view allows admins to see the connections between data tables, including columns, primary keys, and foreign key relationships, within a workspace. This eliminates the need to navigate each table individually, saving valuable time and effort.

2. Ask Caddie, Get Organized

Caddie, your AI assistant in Quixy, just got smarter! Now, you can not only filter data in Tasks, Grid Reports, and Views, but also sort and group it with simple commands. Simply tell Caddie how you want your data organized, and it will handle the sorting and grouping for you.

3. Find the Perfect App Icon with Caddie’s Recommendations

Struggling to find the right icon for your application? Let Caddie help! When naming your application, the platform will suggest relevant icons based on the app name. If you can’t find the perfect fit, Caddie will generate additional options for you to choose from.

4. Solution View 2.0: A Powerful Command Center for Your Projects

The upgraded Solution View offers a comprehensive overview of your process automation projects. Visualize up to 20 levels of artifact connections, filter for specific elements (apps, data tables, etc.), and zoom in and out for optimal visibility. This enhanced view empowers you to track and manage your projects with greater clarity and efficiency.

5. Granular Control Over Business Rules and Validations

Citizen developers now have more control over how and when business rules and validations are triggered within applications. Define specific events (on page load, field interaction, button click, etc.) to ensure that rules are applied only when necessary, optimizing app performance.

6. Enhanced App Comment Management

The comments feature within applications has been revamped to facilitate better collaboration. Users can post comments to share their thoughts and tag others involved in the process. Now, you can restrict comments to specific workflow steps, allowing you to control who can participate in discussions and maintain confidentiality.

7. Secure Reports with Password Protection

For reports containing sensitive information, Quixy now offers password protection when sending reports through Report Schedulers. This additional security layer ensures that only authorized users can access the report data.

8. Manage Multiple “From Email” Addresses

Admins can now configure multiple “From Email” addresses with different or the same SMTP setup. This allows for more organized and adaptable email management, ensuring emails are sent from the most appropriate address based on function or department.

9. Improved Security with Logged-in Session Management

Users can now monitor and manage their active sessions from their profile settings. This feature helps identify and block access from unfamiliar or unwanted devices, enhancing account security and reducing the risk of unauthorized access.

10. User-Controlled Task Toast Notifications

End-users can now personalize their preferences for receiving task toast notifications. This gives them more control over their notification settings and allows them to stay focused on what matters most.

11. Precise Document Selection for Digital Signatures

Users can now select the exact document they need to sign from a collection received within a workflow. This eliminates confusion and ensures the correct document is signed every time.

12. Self-Setup AD/LDAP and Multi-SSO for Streamlined Logins

Organizations can now set up AD/LDAP for user authentication without relying on Quixy’s support team. Additionally, the ability to configure multiple login authentications (SSO) caters to businesses with diverse security needs and departmental structures.

13. Enhanced Date Range Picker with Calendar Flexibility

The Date Range Picker is now more versatile! It can leverage Quixy’s Personalized Calendars or Universal Calendars (System Calendars) without requiring data sources. Admins can customize the picker by showing/hiding weekends and holidays, restricting date selections, and defining display options.

14. Flexible Pricing: Pay As You Go

Organizations can now choose only the extended functionalities they need for their applications (shortcuts, pages, triggers, webhooks, views) and pay accordingly. This eliminates unnecessary costs for features that may not be used.

15. Usability Enhancements

  • Upload custom document files (.dwg, .dwf, .dwt, .sldprt, .slddrw, .sldasm) in applications.
  • Export up to 100,000 records from Grid Reports and List Views to Excel in the background.
  • Download all uploaded files at once as a zip file.
  • Filter artifacts based on Workspace, Change Type (Created, Updated, Deleted), and Created Date.
  • Include custom (XML & XSLT) reports in app notifications.
  • Split multiselect dropdowns, date range, and slot book fields for granular record saving.
  • Configure file upload behavior to open in a pop-up within the same tab or in a new tab.

Additional Highlights

  • Improved User Experience: Quixy has focused on enhancing the overall user experience by optimizing various aspects of the platform, making it more intuitive and efficient to use.
  • Enhanced Security: Quixy continues to prioritize security and has implemented additional measures to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access.

Conclusion

Quixy’s release v4.4 is a testament to the platform’s commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving needs of its users. By incorporating these powerful new features, Quixy empowers organizations to streamline their processes, improve collaboration, and drive efficiency.
