Quixy release 2.1 comes with some exciting platform updates. For a detailed note, please refer to the release notes in the Quixy platform.

New Features

Build the application form with data from Excel

With this new feature, users can now create application forms with data from an Excel sheet. Users can download the template, fill it (label names, default values, form element types, etc. ), and then upload it to automatically populate the form.

Create a Data table with data from Excel

With this feature, users can download an Excel sheet template when creating a data table and populate it with Data Table information, i.e., label names, default values, element types, etc. Once done, the user can automatically upload the Excel to create a data table.

User Interface Improvements

We’ve made many significant improvements to the user interface across the Quixy platform to give all our users a better and easy experience when using the platform.

Improvements in Web Application

Standard Menu as Custom Menu

This new feature provides a custom dynamic menu based on user access to Workspaces, Apps, Reports, List screens, etc. Before this enhancement, a default standard menu was used to display that was not intuitive.

Performance Improvements

We have improved the performance of the application deployment (publish app) process. With this improvement, now the users can publish the apps in lesser time.

SMS Setting Configuration (Organization Level)

Account admin can use this feature to configure SMS service provider details at an organization level. SMS notifications will be sent out using these SMS gateway details.

Enhanced behavior of QR/Bar Code Scanner in Add record

With this enhancement, users can now choose to open the QR/Bar code scanner manually or by default while adding records in an app. So, users will have an option Open By Default when Enable Scanner is enabled in any of the form element properties.

Redesigned Email Notifications

With this enhancement, users will now experience newly designed email templates sent to organization admins or normal users when a new user is registered or invited to Quixy.

Improvements in Mobile Application

Enhancement in Grid Usage while adding records

Improvements have been made to the grid for a better user experience when editing a grid row, displaying a confirmation/warning message when a user clicks on the back button or delete button while editing the grid row.

Option to change the profile picture in mobile app

Users will now have an option to change their profile picture through the mobile application.
