Quixy Release 2.7 (August 2021) Platform Updates

Quixy release 2.7 comes with some exciting platform updates. For a detailed note, please refer to the release notes in the Quixy platform.

New Features

Facial recognition

Use the facial scanner when adding a record in an app; it authenticates a person’s face and fetches the person’s related data onto the application from the Quixy database. As a result, it significantly improves the credibility of the data captured and reduces the time spent manually entering the data.

Perform task activities based on business hours

You can now make the Quixy platform perform certain activities like calculating the turnaround time, performing auto execution, calculating deadline time, and calculating the time to send the task escalations/reminders to a user only in his/her dedicated office working hours using the new feature Task SLAs.

Improvements in Web Application

Schedule recurring tasks

You can now create a recurring task to conduct monthly review meetings, yearly audits, daily inspections, etc., for a role or a user in your organization that can be scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.

Custom toaster messages

You can now customize the toaster message that displays after successfully submitting a record in an app.

Enhancements in External App Reference

You can now allow multiple input fields with cascading (related with each other) when configuring the External App Reference.

These selected input fields would display as drop-down fields when this External App Reference is used in an app.

Until now, you could only get data as single records after selecting a value in the input fields. Additionally, we’ve now improved the feature to retrieve a list of records and display them in a grid.

Improvements in Mobile App

Enhancement in the dashboard

Dashlets on the mobile app’s dashboard will reflect all the background colors, background image, and text color the same way it is configured in the web app.
