Hyderabad, India, September 23, 2022 – The 7th edition of GovConnect Digital Transformation Conclave took place on 16th September in Hyderabad. Quixy, the leading no-code enterprise application development platform, participated as a Digital Transformation Partner.

The agenda of the Conclave was to facilitate knowledge exchange and provide a brainstorming platform for the Policymakers, Government functionaries, Thought leaders, and Industry leaders.

The event focused on reimagining strategies and helping Connect, Collaborate and Co-create even more than before.  Anurag Goel IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Government of Assam, accurately stated the importance of data sharing. He added that solutions we are developing today should be open-source and easily shared between departments to extract maximum value from them. He also shared a fantastic example of how building an online portal, the idea which came after understanding the problems the state secretariat was facing, helped them reduce the visitor’s footprints by 90%.

The most exciting takeaway from the event was when Mugdha Sinha IAS, Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Rajasthan, put forward the thought of breaking the departmental silos. When organizations can facilitate data sharing, they can scale and implement STRATEGIES efficiently. The philosophy is simple, Technology is a tool, Research is a skill, Funding is critical, and Citizen is at the centre of all this.

Mayank Chaturvedi, Country Manager-Public Sector, HPE India, talked about the critical factors of the Digital Transformation journey. He mentioned how data modernization could help solve the complexities of driving timely value from the collected data even after mainstream technology adoption.

Raveesh Reddy, Vice President Sales, Quixy, added, “To solve the complexities, the main agenda should be to try and initiate actions rather than to identify the technologies”. He further said, “given the right technical push, Indian governments may lead the way in service delivery. The best benefit is realized when governments carry it out themselves. Because they are emerging technologies widely employed in government organizations, no-code, and low-code platforms will play a significant role.”

The event successfully highlighted the pain points that organizations are facing and how the correct use of emerging technologies like no-code, AI, and RPA can help. The only breakthrough organizations can realize between adopting technologies to solve problems and finding solutions is to bring the problem-facer into strategy and solution building.
