As a Build engineer, you will be the owner of smooth product deployments. Ensure that systems are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale. You are also responsible for automating and maintaining nonproduction and production environments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deployments to testing and development environments.
- Manage source code repositories.
- Create and automate infrastructure necessary for development and testing.
- Monitor of overall infrastructure, applications, services, and databases (Logs/Resources etc.)
- Maintain infrastructure in AWS/Azure environments and automation.
- Diagnose and resolve build and deployment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand their build requirements and provide support in optimizing build processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for build and deployment processes, including best practices and procedures.
- Ensure that build and deployment processes adhere to security best practices and standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging DevOps and build technologies, advocating for their adoption when relevant.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge on Full lifecycle of Deployments, including Configuration management, Build Automation, Release management, Deployment automation and Infrastructure management
- Knowledge in Automation of CI/CD processes using tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Azure Pipeline and Gitlab
- Knowledge with Jenkins, GitHub, TFS, Maven, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
- Knowledge on Dot Net and Angular
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
